Our 1st shift is 6:00:00 AM – 4:30:00 PM Monday through Thursday. Significant OT may be available during the week or weekends. There also may be opportunities for flexed workweek schedules, such as making up time on Friday mornings. Training/probationary period expected to be approximately 90 days.
Primary Goal: Set-up and run Manual 5” Bar with Built-in Rotary Table
Machinists:
• Skilled Set-Up/Operator on a Manual 130mm Horizontal Boring Mill. Features: Touch screen control, 96.00 Built in rotary table, X = 118.00 Y = 96.00 Z = 36.00 W= 78.00 Cat 50 Tooling.
• Skilled in shop math, blueprint reading, and problem solving.
• Skilled in set-up, fixturing, adjusting and operating Horizontal
Boring Mills to obtain proper print dimensions, preferably Fanuc &
Tosnuc Controls.
• High degree of knowledge and use of Manual Horizontal Boring
Machine (2+ years’ experience preferred).
• Work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts, checking own work
with measuring instruments and documenting results.
• Must be able work from routings, process sheets, die drawings and
blueprints.
• Select speeds, feeds, tooling and operational sequence. Prove out
and make minor edits to programs.
• Set-up & compile process sheets to complete the job.
• Work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts, checking own work
with measuring instruments and documenting results.
• Must have good knowledge in the use of X-Y-Z-W & B axis machining.
• Position, align and secure work piece. May require the use of
locating fixtures. Select and prepare tools to meet varying.

• Experience in the use of overhead cranes with parts ranging from 1
– 20 ton.
• Actively participate in machining team efforts and department
continuous improvement activities.
• Short run/job shop experience preferred.
• Have good communication skills & willing to work well with others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Primary Goal: Run Gibbs programming; set-up and operate the HBMs as available.
Note: Opportunity to become the Department Lead.
Machinists:
-Set up, adjust and operate various sizes of CNC machines including, horizontal boring mills and horizontal machining centers (Toyoda HMC, Toshiba HMC, and Hyundai HBM), to turn, bore, face, groove, mill, and drill on a variety of work to obtain proper print dimensions.
-Work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts, checking own work with measuring instruments and documenting results.
-Work from routings, process sheets, die drawings and blueprints. Select speeds, feeds, tooling and operational sequence. Prove out and make minor edits to CNC programs.
-Position, align and secure work piece. May require the use of locating fixtures. Select and prepare tools to meet varying conditions and materials.
-Actively participate in machining team efforts and department continuous improvement activities.
-2+ years’ minimum machining experience including setup of CNC machines
-Knowledge of CNC machine controls, preferably Fanuc & Tosnuc Controls
-Experience with Gibbs Cam Software or other that can easily adapt to Gibbs “Helpful”
-Must have good knowledge in the use of X-Y-Z-W & B axis machining.
-Strong shop math, blueprint reading, and problem solving skills
-Good communication skills and willing to work well with others
-Short run/job shop experience preferred
-Large parts ranging from 1 – 20 ton and overhead crane experience
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
